Hedsor House wedding
Sarah & Kiran kickstarted my 2023 weddings with a truly magnificent Hedsor house wedding. I had already planned their intimate wedding in 2022, but this wedding, in their words, was the BIG ONE! Throughout their day, they wanted to incorporate Sri Lanka, a place special to their hearts and family. An elegant wild meadow greeted the guests arrival at @hedsor, followed by an incredibly electric multicultural Sri Lankan ceremony led by Kandyan dancers & drummers and Sarah & Kiran exchanged vows under a Poruwa with beautiful cascading wisteria.
Sarah & Kiran wanted their Hedsor House wedding ceremony to be neutral in colour and then to add a hit of vibrancy to the rest of the day. We chose lush burgundy’s & pinks for the dinner with stunning blooms by the wonderful @wildaboutflower, hot foiled burgundy menus and bespoke hand written calligraphy place cards by @eracalligraphy were placed for each guest.
Sri Lanka continued throughout dinner with a wonderful seating plan that was a map of Sri Lanka, and the table names were all special places to Sarah & Kiran in Sri Lanka. This continued in the incredible cake design by @cakebuds_uk, an intricate design was stencilled on the cake with elephants and lotus flowers. The evening party started with an evening dress change by Sarah, wearing a stunning two piece and incredible beaded cape by @halfpennylondon and guests continued their wonderful experience with live music and bespoke Sri Lanken cocktails made by Caper & Berry.
